  • The Kolb Foundation and the Kolb Society of Fellows, founded through a bequest by Katherine Kolb Paanakker, is committed to graduate education in academic disciplines concerned with the cultures of ancient pre-industrial and modern non-industrial peoples of the world, with a particular focus on archaeology.
  • Each year the Kolb Society of Fellows sponsors a fall and spring colloquium. The fall colloquium is accompanied by a dinner for the fellows. The late Peter Paanakker, the principal benefactor of the Kolb Society, is pictured here attending the dinner in 1998.
